Did you believe as a child? Do you remember when you stopped believing? How old were you?

I stopped believing when I was about 5. I had a nasty step mom who took great joy in trying to disappoint me. I learned about the easter bunny, tooth fairy, santa and the smurfs (yes the smurfs!) in one fell swoop.

I believed 100% until I was about 10 years old. It just hit me one day and I asked my mom. She finally told me the truth, but one of her favorite sayings is "if you don't believe, you don't receive". :giggle

I don't remember --- I had an older brother so I am sure I learned fairly young.

I was about 10. My brother also tried to ruin it for me for about two years before mom finally fessed up (I hope he rots in HELL). But, I still got Santa every year, and still do when I am home.
